Having drawn a lot of characters recently, I felt that it was time to tackle the objective of adding some proper backgrounds to my art. So, in my last few drawings, I tried to paint more detailed backgrounds and improve on it. It is definitely a lot of fun so far and I think I might get further into it. Also, I learned a lot about Procreate and how to use it properly, since the process for drawing backgrounds is completely different from my approach to character art. Anyways, stay tuned for more drawings featuring backgrounds in the future!

So, since Avatar Studios has been founded by Nickelodeon, there has been a ton of new content for both, Avatar The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. As a long time fan, of course, I'm back on the hype train and have been engaging in the fan community much more. Some of you might remember that I started my art journey drawing Korra fanart and now I'm back to it. Drawing these new Avatar related pieces made me realize just how much my art has improved and how far I've come. For a long time, art meant struggle for me, but now I'm finally back at the point where it is actually fun, just like it was when I first started. That's a good feeling for sure.
